Thanksgiving, Part 1

On Thursday, Kyle had a moonlighting shift overnight, so the girls and I woke up on our own for their first Thanksgiving. This was obviously fine, considering the only early festivity worth mentioning is the parade, and they aren’t allowed that much screentime anyway! ๐Ÿ˜‰

In the mid-morning, Kyle was home and we got our things together to head to my parents’ house when the parade was over. It was great to spend time with them, even if things (repeatedly) went a little different than planned! ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanksgiving Outfits & Hangin’ Out —

Since Kyle was home, we decided to try a new food as well! (We recently realized that we have to start moving along much faster, if we ever want to move out of single-ingredient stuff. We’re starting a new one every 3 or 4 days now, instead of each week ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Green beans, mommy’s favorite! The girls loved them, too, and devoured them!

We hardly get to see my family these days even though they live so close, so it was a fairly easy decision to just stay the night, since the girls were going to anyway. We had a blast hanging out, perusing black friday ads, laughing and playing the most awesome game of Name that Tune I’ve ever seen. There are several more pictures in the Picasa album, but here are just a few —

I hope your Thanksgiving celebration was a wonderful one!
