Snow Day #2

We were snowed in again yesterday, as you might imagine. In the evening, Kyle and I brought snow inside to the girls (after reading about such a great idea on another blog I read about a handsome little boy! šŸ™‚ ). I can’t say they were too crazy about it in their house …

Elise would at least explore it some,

but Avery really wasn’t excited to do so. Can you blame her? It’s cold! šŸ™‚

When I packed it into a ball (GREAT packing snow, by the way!), they both watched, very intrigued. Even Avery ended up checking it out when offered to her!

Overall though, this pretty much sums up their reaction — confused interest, at best!

  1. We’ve played “inside snow” every day that I’ve been off. Henry has liked it a little more each time. His favorite thing to do is stick his head into the bowl and lick it. It’s too funny. He liked it a lot more than me sticking him in the snow outside. These snow days have made me so jealous of you staying home with the girls every day. I have loved every second of my time with Henry. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get them together sometime (maybe over the summer when I’m out of school).

  2. That’s hilarious! My girls are too wimpy to stick their faces in it, for sure! I’m glad you’ve had a few days home, though I’m sure it will be harder to go back the longer you’re out! šŸ™ I hope summer comes quickly for you (and so we can play together!) šŸ™‚
