Sharing Woods

This Spring, the girls and I invited several other moms and kids from 4 Corners on a variety of playdates as part of a small groups program.  We made lots of new friends and connected with some of our old friends, and had a lot of fun.  The last get-together was at the Sharon Woods Adventure Station Playground.  But not if you ask my kids.  Why in the world would a place be named SHARON Woods? I guess they wondered.  SHARING Woods makes so much more sense.  So to Sharing Woods we went!

It had been quite a while since we had gone to the indoor playground, and Elise and Avery are at just the right age for it now.  They loved the ball pit, the freedom to run around on both levels “all by [themselves]”, the make-believe areas upstairs (jail, horse and buggy, market, etc) … and I love that I can see (or at the very least talk to) them no matter where they roam.

I missed getting video of the girls and their friend Adalie putting on a show on a “stage” they found in the corner, so you’ll just have to take my word for it – they were adorable.  In fact, I just have a few grainy cell phone pictures, so you’ll have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks.  I hear the iPhone 5 comes out in September, so we’ll upgrade then.

(Or, you know, I could carry my real camera that I adore and never remember to bring along on our adventures.)

Until one of those two things happens, I’m sorry 🙂 —
