Go Eagles!

Elise and Avery (and Nolan!) enjoyed their first school football game this fall!  We had a family picnic before, and – to their pleasant surprise – one of their best friends, Georgia, was there too! There are more pictures to come, on a new and improved hosting site… I’ll keep you posted!

School Update

So when I picked the girls up after their first day, this is how I was greeted: They were so devastated that some kids got to stay for lunch, and it was already time for them to go home. "Back" to School Party & Orientation

Since my first year (and likely earlier), CHCA has had a “Back to School” party for each class, to reacquaint and/or meet the kids in your grade before the school year begins.  Apparently, the Soaring Start preschool – at least in 2012 – is no exception. CHCA Ice Cream Social

This summer, the girls and I got to go to an ice cream social at CHCA.  They got to meet some other kids coming into the elementary school for the first time, enjoy some delicious goodies, meet Isaiah the eagle and play on the playground. To say they’re excited to start school next month is an understatement!  Their mama?  Well she finds it extraordinarily bittersweet.
